CVJ Departments...

Regular departments are the backbone of any magazine and it's no different for the Corvette Video Journal. In each department we will focus on a particular subject important to the Corvette enthusiast. Most departments will run three to five minutes, although they may be expanded at times.

ClubVette

All the Corvette Club news, views and information that is "fit-to-print". Full of event announcements, capsule coverage of club happenings and just a great place to brag! Also, a great place for established clubs to share tips on forming or running a club. This department really needs the involvement of the clubs to work and has the potential to be the largest of the departments, possibly running 10-15 minutes each issue.

Museum Minutes

The National Corvette Museum is at the center of Corvette's heritage. We will bring you the latest news and info from the NCM in each issue. We will also hear directly from the museum people on important subjects involving the NCM and you. Capsule coverage of activites at the museum will be right here. Did I mention that 5% of your subscription will be donated to the NCM... (wink)

Victory Circle

Competition is the very soul of Corvette. We all love racing! Motorsports coverage of all the hot venues that Corvette competes in will be here. From club racing to the 24 Hours of LeMans, CVJ will be on top of the action in every issue. We will also sprinkle in other venues, such as NASCAR, CART and Trans Am Series just for fun. Should be a high octane department!

VETTech

Our technical editor will roll up his sleeves and answer your questions with hands on demonstrations. He will also present new products and services of interest to the Corvette enthusiast. Quick tips and tricks to enhance your Corvette experience will be illustrated here as well. So, roll out your toolbox and make sure your jack is handy.

POVette

Our editorial department, with viewpoints on matters important to the Corvette enthusiast. We will mix this up a bit with guest editorials (any volunteers with a soapbox) and possibly a point-counterpoint debate here and there. We'll also publish your video "Letters-to-the-Editor" here. So, step up and let us know your viewpoint, we're listening.

Viewers' Vettes

Our showcase for viewers' Vettes. Budding Spielbergs get your camcorders out. Send us your video and a written background on you and your Corvette and we'll edit together a capsule profile for all to see. Get creative with it, remember this is moving pictures. Here's a hint, we really like smokin' tires and power slides. But please, no "Jackass the Movie" type stunts!
